Hammer City Roller Derby skates into Season 15!

Hammer City Roller Derby is celebrating 15 seasons of being Hamilton’s flat track roller derby league in 2020, and we can’t wait to hit the track this year! We kick off this milestone season in May as we welcome Hogtown Roller Derby from Toronto to the Hammer for a double header against our Eh! Team and the Dundurn Hassle. We are excited that we will be having a Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) sanctioned game at each of our home dates this year. These games count towards Hammer City’s worldwide rankings, and we are training hard to be able to see some upward momentum in our scores this season!

Our 15th season will also see us welcome teams from Forest City Roller Derby (London, ON) and Kingston Roller Derby (Kingston, ON) to Hamilton.

See below for our list of home bout dates.

Season 15 Home Bout Dates

May 2, 2020: Hammer City Eh! Team vs Hogtown Horrors (WFTDA sanctioned)
Hammer City Dundurn Hassle vs Hogtown Derby Debutantes (WFTDA regulation)

June 13, 2020: Hammer City Eh! Team vs Forest City Roller Derby Timber Rollers (WFTDA sanctioned)
Hammer City Pier Pressure vs Tri-City TKOs

Additionally, Hammer City is excited to be playing some away games this season as we travel to Alliston, ON to face the Renegade Derby Dames in April and we cross the border to play Enchanted Mountain Roller Derby in Olean, NY in June.
